Stress Management, Meditation, & Breathing performance guide

Week 4 | RE-ASSESS

Continual long-term sustainable growth

Having objective measures with a strategic plan can help you to continue progressing and building on the foundations of Restoration, Regulation, and Resilience training.

Use the guide below alongside your Stress Management, Meditation, & Breathing Performance Guide to learn the skills, principles, and methods that lead to continual growth, adaptation, and transformation.

Remember, the strength and value of your practices are dependent on the QUALITY and CONSISTENCY you invest.

re-assess

The area you invest the most focus in will lead to the greatest change.

Without looking at your original VAS Assessment from Week 1, complete the assessment now. Based on your personal goals and health & fitness vision, do you see improvement in the areas you want to see improve?

If ‘YES’, then continue the practices and behaviors that support the improvements you’ve experienced. You may also choose new health & fitness metrics.

If ‘NO’, begin by focusing on what went well. Refer back to your Accountability Guide. How consistent were you at your practices? From here, you have two choices:

  1. Continue the same practices and continue to measure the health & fitness metrics you want to see change, while tweaking your schedule to improve consistency.

  2. Choose new practices and/or new health & fitness metrics to focus on areas that are “low hanging fruit”. Choose practices and measures that require low effort and low resistance — remember, your goal is to reduce stress, not create more stress!
